“A Life in Your Hands – Help Mendo Maya”
Meet Mendo Maya Waiba
“Meet Mendo Maya Waiba — a bright and innocent 14-year-old girl from Nepal whose life was turned upside down by a rare skull-base tumor called Clival Chordoma. She needs urgent and very expensive Proton Beam Therapy abroad to survive. Her family is doing everything they can, but they can’t cover the cost alone. Your help — even a small donation — could bring hope, healing, and a future back to this sweet young child. Please support her fight.”

Mendo Maya Waiba is a 14-year-old Class 10 student at Kali Devi Secondary School in Kopintar, Mahabharat-2. Known for her bright smile and gentle nature, she has always been a hardworking child who dreams of completing her studies and supporting her family. Until recently, her life revolved around school, friends, and simple joys. But everything changed when she began experiencing severe headaches, dizziness, and difficulty walking. After several tests, doctors confirmed a heartbreaking diagnosis — Clival Chordoma, a rare and life-threatening skull-base tumor.
For a child who should be preparing for exams and dreaming of her future, she is now fighting for her life. Her family is devastated, emotionally and financially, as the treatment requires urgent Proton Beam Therapy, which is extremely expensive. Yet even in pain, Mendo remains hopeful, whispering that she wants to return to school and see her friends again. Her courage inspires everyone around her, but she cannot continue this fight alone.
Your support can give Mendo the chance to survive, heal, and return to the classroom she loves so much
